The Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Center (LGBC) collection contains information collected over a twenty-nine year period at Minnesota State University. The collection consists of four series: correspondence and office records, newspaper clippings, events, miscellaneous items, and memorabilia. Each series is arranged by topic and chronological order. The collection contains information about the history of the organization in Mankato and battles against discrimination, newspaper clippings collected over two decades concerning gays and lesbians at the national and local levels, campus events, miscellaneous pictures, correspondence, and sixty-six pins related to issues deemed important by the LGBC's membership.
